Job Title: CSC (Common Service Center) Operator

Job Summary
The CSC Operator is responsible for delivering various government, financial, and citizen-centric services through the Common Service Center (CSC). The role involves assisting citizens with digital services, online applications, documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the CSC.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide government-to-citizen (G2C), and financial services through the CSC platform
• Assist citizens with online applications such as Aadhaar services, PAN, voter ID, certificates, utility bill payments, insurance, banking services, etc.
• Register, verify, and upload documents accurately on relevant portals
• Maintain records of transactions, applications, and daily reports
• Handle cash and digital payments responsibly and transparently
• Educate citizens about available CSC services and digital literacy
• Ensure proper functioning of computer systems, internet connectivity, and peripherals
• Maintain confidentiality and data security of citizen information
• Coordinate with CSC authorities and follow guidelines, circulars, and updates
• Resolve basic customer queries and escalate issues when required
Required Skills & Competencies
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, internet browsing, email)
• Familiarity with online portals and digital payment systems
• Good communication skills in local language(s); basic English preferred
• Customer-friendly attitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle documentation and data entry accurately
• Basic accounting or cash-handling knowledge is an advantage
Educational Qualifications
• Minimum: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent
• Graduation or computer-related certification preferred
Experience
• Prior experience in CSC operations, data entry, customer service, or similar roles is preferred
• Freshers with adequate computer knowledge may also apply
Working Conditions
• Work from CSC premises
• May require working on weekends or extended hours as per service demand
Remuneration
• As per NGO norms / based on the experience
