Job Summary
The CSC Coordinator is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and supporting the operations of Common Service Centers (CSCs) within the assigned area. The role focuses on ensuring effective service delivery, compliance with CSC guidelines, training of VLEs/operators, and promotion of CSC services for maximum outreach and impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day functioning of CSCs in the assigned area
• Provide operational support and guidance to CSC Operators / VLEs
• Ensure implementation of CSC policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
• Monitor service delivery, transactions, and performance of CSCs
• Conduct field visits to CSCs for inspection, support, and troubleshooting
• Assist in onboarding new CSCs and VLEs as per norms
• Organize training programs, meetings, and awareness campaigns for CSC operators
• Resolve operational issues and escalate matters to higher authorities when required
• Maintain records, reports, and MIS related to CSC activities
• Coordinate with district administration, banks, service providers, and CSC SPV officials
• Support implementation of new CSC initiatives and schemes
• Maintain CSC data in hard and soft copy
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong coordination and supervisory skills
• Good understanding of CSC ecosystem, digital services, and government schemes
• Effective communication skills in local language(s); English preferred
• Ability to conduct training and field-level support
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, online portals)
• Problem-solving, reporting, and data management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
Educational Qualifications
• Graduate in any discipline (Computer/IT background preferred)
• Diploma or certification in Computer Applications is an advantage
Experience
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in CSC operations, digital services, government projects, or field coordination
• Prior experience working with VLEs, government departments, or NGOs preferred
Working Conditions
• Field-based role with frequent travel
• May require working beyond regular hours based on operational needs
Salary / Remuneration
• As per CSC norms / project guidelines / based on experience
