Job Summary
The Project Coordinator / Project Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting program activities in alignment with the organization’s mission and donor requirements. The role involves close coordination with field teams, beneficiaries, partners, donors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
• Develop detailed project implementation plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution of project activities in line with approved proposals.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines.
• Supervise field staff and provide operational guidance.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Develop and track project indicators and monitoring frameworks.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and ensure quality implementation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual narrative and financial reports for management and donors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Budget & Financial Oversight
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Coordinate with the finance team for fund utilization and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, beneficiaries, government agencies, and partner organizations.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and community engagement sessions.
• Represent the organization in coordination meetings and external forums.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with donor agreements, organizational policies, and statutory requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure safeguarding and ethical standards are upheld.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination/management within the NGO/development sector.
• Strong understanding of community development and participatory approaches.
• Experience working with donors and preparing program reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic budgeting tools.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Experience managing donor-funded projects (e.g., government grants, CSR, international donors).
• Knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
• Familiarity with statutory and compliance requirements for NGOs.
