About the Organisation and Programme : Bodh Shiksha Samiti is a not for profit organization (based out of Jaipur) working in the field of quality education since last 39 years. The organization strives to contribute towards ensuring equitable quality education for all the children irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. Bodh also works closely with the state governments to strengthen the public education system so that the quality of education provided to the masses improves and becomes what the national curriculum aims to be ensuring.
Bodh is running 36 Community Schools with the support community members. Within the larger organizational framework, Community Bodhshalas play the most important role of not only being a critical demonstration of common community institutions but they are the ground for learning and innovation. They represent actual possibility with the mission of ensuring common effective qualitative learning in children which inculcates the ability of scientific thinking and critical reasoning for the prejudiced traditions of society.
Roles & Responsibilities: (to work with the guidance of Sr. Researcher/Principal Teacher)
• Designing and conducting subject based action research in the classroom.
• Collecting data on student learning and teaching practices.
• Maintaining daily classroom proceedings in the formats/registers/diaries as prescribed.
• Analyzing the data to identify patterns and insights,
• Using findings to inform improvements in teaching strategies and curriculum development.
• Developing strategies for the students who are not at class level.
• Maintaining ethical considerations and respecting the privacy of students involved.
• Timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, half yearly and reports and sharing.
• Be the active member of teacher collective.
• Stay in community, regular visit to the community members and ensuring their active participation in all school activities.
• Role of Alumni and their support to the school activities to be ensured.
Qualification and experience:
• Masters degree with minimum 50% in any subject (Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Art (Drawing), Music, Pre and Early). Throughout good academic record is preferable.
• B.Ed/Equivalent professional qualification is compulsory.
• Experience of classroom practices would be preferred.
• Good communication skill in Hindi and English for all posts is desirable.
• Good Command on computer -MS Office.
• Presence in person is mandatory, candidates with request of online interview please excuse.
• Selection process will include group discussion, written subject test and personal interview
• No TA DA will be paid for the interview.
