Terms of Reference
Technical Officer (TB Diagnostic), (CTD, MoH&FW)

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi, on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above-mentioned post, purely on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities
• To handle the day-to-day correspondence at the Central TB division pertaining to TB diagnostics.
• To assist in monitoring the State wise scale up of TB diagnostics.
• To follow up with NRLs, IRLs and CDSTs and ensure timely submission of performance reports by TB diagnostics centers.
• To assist in compiling the data from the project sites, piloting/evaluating new diagnostic technologies.
• To follow up NRLs' supervisory visits and recommendations given to the States and track the reports on actions taken by the States
• To track the submission of quality assurance reports by the States and compiling the same.
• To analyze the data available at CTD and share the trends on lab indicators.
• To assist in providing feedback from CTD on the laboratory performance to the States.
• To facilitate laboratory related procurement issues.
• Coordination with the states to forecast, calculate centrally procured lab consumables and archiving year wise lab consumable procurement details
• To assist in ensuring quality assurance and quality control in the CDST labs, IRL’s and NRL’s
• To assist in drawing Standard operating procedures for the various levels of laboratories and ensuring further adherence & compliance
• To facilitate QA and QC roles from laboratories in coordination with NRLs
• Supportive supervisory visits to NTEP laboratories
• To facilitate change management with respect to use of ICT & Nikshay tools for concerned data entry, validation & its use for public health action
• Any other job assigned as per the program need.
• Essential Qualification / Requirements
• M.Sc. Medical Microbiology.
• Working Knowledge of Computers.
Preferential Qualification/Skills
• Five years of lab experience, preferably in NTEP laboratories.
Age
Upto 65 years and ready to travel extensively
Remuneration
Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 90,000/- to Rs. 1,30,000/- per month
