Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Education
- MBA/PGDM from a premier management institute, preferably an Indian Institute of Management (IIM), with strong academic grounding in strategy, public policy, or related disciplines.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in program management, analytics, client management.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex development and policy challenges, synthesize insights, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Comfort working with government officials, donors, technical partners, and internal teams in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Structured Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of concept notes, presentations, reports, and strategic briefs.
- Policy & Systems Understanding: Working knowledge of government programs, livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, and large-scale implementation systems.
- Coordination & Project Management: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-ups across teams and partners.
- Problem Solving & Adaptability: Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in evolving program and policy contexts.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively across functions, provide constructive inputs, and support senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Enterprise Support Strategy
- Develop comprehensive enterprise promotion strategy under MMRY aligned with scheme guidelines
- Design enterprise lifecycle framework: identification → initiation → stabilization → scaling.
- Develop state-level Enterprise Promotion Plan (EPP) with phased rollout roadmap.
- Create enterprise category-specific support models (farm, non-farm, services, micro-manufacturing, etc.).
- Develop structured beneficiary segmentation (new entrepreneurs, scale-ready, high-growth potential).
- Design block-wise and district-wise enterprise expansion plans.
- Support district teams in preparing detailed Enterprise Support Implementation Plans (ESIPs).
- Identify systemic bottlenecks and recommend corrective frameworks.
Dashboarding, MIS & Systems Management
- Lead design and strengthening of MMRY dashboard architecture integrating:
- Application flow
- Verification stages
- DBT disbursement tracking
- Enterprise activity mapping
- Training coverage
- Scale-up support tracking
- Define key enterprise performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop real-time performance dashboards for:
- State, District level and Block level
- Ensure MIS entries are timely and accurate.
- Build analytical review formats for daily/weekly/monthly progress tracking.
- Institutionalize data-driven review mechanisms with SPMU & DPCU.
- Develop automated reporting templates and summary briefs for leadership.
- Support integration of enterprise MIS with financial and monitoring systems.
Enterprise Support & Business Planning Framework
- Develop structured enterprise support toolkit for beneficiaries:
- Basic business planning formats
- Costing templates
- Profitability estimation tools
- Market linkage planning formats
- Design standard business plan templates for scale-up support (?2 lakh support stage).
- Develop enterprise viability assessment frameworks.
- Coordinate with training teams to build enterprise capacity-building modules.
- Define mentoring and handholding architecture at block level.
- Develop enterprise stabilization support strategy for early-stage beneficiaries.
- Create enterprise risk mitigation and sustainability framework.
Capacity Building & Institutional Strengthening
- Ensure structured cascade training approach.
- Institutionalize enterprise advisory systems at district level.
- Develop resource manuals and guidance notes.
Strategic Partnerships & Government Engagement
- Support strategic positioning of PCI with state government departments, donors, and development partners
- Maintain structured engagement with government departments to support collaboration, coordination, and information flow.
- Support development and coordination of strategic communications for projects, tailored for government, donors, and partners.
- Contribute to preparation of donor and government reports, presentations, and review documents.
- Synthesize learnings, insights, and evidence from field to strengthen impact narratives.
- Ensure external-facing information is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Recruitment Process:
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the specified criteria mentioned in the Job Description.
- Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written assignment (if required).
- Group Discussions may be part of the interview process for certain positions.
- The process could also include presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. Those moving to the final round of interviews will be hearing from the People & Culture team. We prefer in person meetings but in case of location distances, we are happy to meet you virtually.
