Advancing the Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) platform in Bihar remains a key priority for the Foundation. Over the past three years, strategic investments have enabled the establishment of a functional network of Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs), bringing essential primary care services closer to communities. Building on this progress, the collaboration now seeks to further strengthen the execution capacity of state and district health officials with catalytic support from the Bihar Technical Support Unit (BTSU) and Jhpiego teams. Aligned with the state’s Health Systems Strengthening , the initiative focuses on supporting the rollout and management of HWCs, strengthening infrastructure and the training ecosystem for Community Health Officers (CHOs), enhancing digital linkages, activating and monitoring RMNCHA+N services, and leveraging state-owned data systems for improved governance and public health planning in alignment with the Foundation’s broader technical assistance strategy in Bihar.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
1) Provide technical and strategic support for CPHC program implementation.
2) Act as a liaison between the state Officials, Partners and other stakeholders.
3) Oversee the execution of key CPHC programmatic commitments
4) Provide necessary CPHC specific data solutions, design technical content and materials for CHOs and ANMs 5) Manage and analyze CPHC-related data to support program monitoring and decision-making.
6) Provide data-driven insights for improved governance and program effectiveness.
7) Assist in the transition and institutionalization of key learnings and data systems for sustained impact.
8) Collaborate with Partner and stakeholders (GoB) to enhance data utilization for program planning and implementation.
Desirable Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or related fields such as Community Medicine, Health Management / Hospital Administration or Social Work (with health experience)/ PG-Statics or Data Management.
Experience:
• 8-10 years of experience in program management, government stakeholders and partners management and exposure of large scale data analysis & organization.
Skills:
• Must Have Skills:
Data Analysis, Program execution planning, Facilitation Skills, Data Driven Learning & improvement, Interpersonal skills, stakeholders’ engagements.
• Optional Skills:
Understanding of Digital Data Analysis Tools
Travel: Upto 40% time.
