Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) is inviting applications for the position of State Head – Andhra Pradesh to lead and manage the implementation of its mentoring-led entrepreneurship development programme in the state.
The role involves driving entrepreneurship development initiatives, strengthening mentoring ecosystems, managing government and institutional partnerships, leading multi-location teams, and ensuring achievement of programme outcomes including outreach, training, mentoring, and enterprise creation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead implementation of BYST programmes across Andhra Pradesh
• Build and manage partnerships with Government, institutions, corporates, and stakeholders
• Oversee entrepreneur and mentor development programmes
• Monitor programme KPIs, budgets, and project outcomes
• Lead cluster teams and ensure effective project execution
• Represent BYST in state-level forums and stakeholder meetings
Desired Profile
• Postgraduate preferably in Management, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in programme/project management
• Experience in entrepreneurship, livelihood, MSME, mentoring, or skill development ecosystem
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities
• Experience handling multi-location programmes and government partnerships preferred
Other Requirements
• Willingness to travel extensively within Andhra Pradesh
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and project management
