MAHARISHI RAM RAJ TRUST is a unique organization in India. It is established to specifically promote, teach, and conduct scientific research on curriculum and courses of study in Maharishi Vedic Science and all 40 aspects of the Ved and Vedic literature developed over the course of 50 years. This trust is of great importance in assimilating and promoting the world-wide interest and support of the Vedic heritage of India.

Remuneration: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is very attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history. The said contract may be terminated by either party by giving one-month prior written notice of termination to another party. But it is recognized that the intention of this agreement is to work together to ensure that the parties are in mutual satisfaction as to the implementation of the project.

CONTENT OF TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)
1.Key tasks:
The Communication Consultant will provide strategic and operational support to the CAP section in planning, executing, and documenting Maharishi Ram Raj Trust India’s upcoming advocacy and communication engagements. The consultant’s scope of work will include: •

Advocacy Campaigns & Outreach
• Design and implement communication plans and advocacy campaigns to support organizational objectives.
• Create, edit, and distribute content for digital and traditional platforms, including press releases, reports, and social media.
• Support and coordinate influencer engagement and digital outreach for advocacy campaigns.
• Work with the CAP digital team to create content for digital and offline platforms.
Content Creation:
• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for press releases, newsletters, social media, websites, and publications, ensuring clarity and consistency across platforms.
• Manage media relations, organize press events, and handle crisis communication to protect and enhance the organization’s brand reputation.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Record the number of reports, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, or campaign messages created and disseminated.
• Note participant numbers for campaigns, events, or activities, such as workshops and public engagements.
• Document the number of media mentions, articles published, and broadcast segments secured, along with estimated audience reach.
• Summarize results from follow-up surveys or feedback forms regarding campaign/event effectiveness and audience satisfaction.
• Include clear summaries of key lessons, challenges, recommendations, and improvements for future initiatives.
• Measure the timely submission of progress updates, documentation, and event reports against agreed deadlines.

2.General Administrative and Organizational Support:
• Provide day-to-day support to CAP section activities, including scheduling, coordination with partners, and follow-up actions.
• Assist in ensuring efficient communication flow and smooth implementation of activities

3. QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity for diverse audiences.
• Experience with digital communication tools, social media management, and content management systems.
• Analytical abilities to interpret communication performance data and optimize strategies.
• Organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills for handling multiple projects.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address communication challenges.

4.Work Experience
• Minimum of 0-5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or related fields.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing communication strategies and advocacy campaigns.
• Experience in content creation, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media management.
• Prior experience advising senior management or clients on communication best practices is preferred.
• Background or experience with advocacy and rights-based communication is a plus.

Languages
Fluency in Hindi and excellent English, both oral and written.

5.PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Progressive monthly payment on submission of updated tasks and activity report for supporting activities duly approved by the supervisor/s.
