The Child in Need Institute is looking for Project Supervisor with following details.

Type of Employment- Contractual
Duration- 1 year
Essential Qualifications- Master’s in Social Work/ Sociology /Social Science / Psychology
Experience- Minimum 2 yr experience in development sector
Computer Skills- The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Power point.
Languages known – Good communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Bengali and Hindi is desirable
Age-25 to 50 years
Job responsibilities:
1. Responsible to coordinate all the activities related to rescue operation, stakeholder management and others
2. Lead and supervise the project team and field staff.
3. Coordinate overall implementation of project activities at transit points.
4. Monitor outreach, rescue and rehabilitation interventions regularly.
5. Ensure achievement of project targets and quality service delivery.
6. Liaise with Police, CWC, DCPU and Child Helpline authorities.
7. Maintain coordination with Railway and Transport Authorities.
8. Strengthen networking with allied child protection systems and stakeholders
9. Conduct regular field monitoring and supportive supervision visits.
10. Organize training and orientation on child protection issues and laws.
11. Build capacity of staff, volunteers and frontline stakeholders.
12. Ensure proper case management, documentation and reporting.
13. Facilitate crisis response and emergency rescue coordination.
14. Conduct review meetings and develop action plans for the team.
15. Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and JJ Act protocols.
16. Represent the project in coordination meetings and external forums.
