?Life Project 4 Youth is a federation of 19 organizations in 14 countries whose mission is the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social inclusion of Young people (18-25 yo) from extreme poverty and victims of exclusion.
LP4Y supports the decent inclusion of thousands of Young people and their families in 41 programs, 20 Life Project Centers, 4 Little Angel Academies, 6 Green Villages, 4 Youth hostels, 2 LP4Y Labs in South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Europe and America.
Over the past 10 years LP4Y has created solutions, always close to slum areas in large cities such as Manila, Cebu, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Calauan, Jakarta, New-Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Raipur, Chennai, Kathmandu, Yangon, Dhaka, and Beirut. Currently, we are 140 Catalysts in Asia working with Young Adults contributing to the development of their country. Since 2009, 9300 youth have been accompanied to the professional world.
GREEN VILLAGES
Since 2013, LP4Y has developed Green Villages : sustainable solutions for excluded Youth from rural areas.
This soft skill training center has welcomed and trained already 830 Youth coming from skilling programs like Vocational Training Programs (VTPs) or other organisms (livelihood, other NGOs, associations...), helped them in developing professional grooming and employability skills (communication skills, organization and management, time management, business mindset, teamwork, citizenship…). The final objective is to help them to find a stable and decent job (by guiding them, without placement).
This project uses a hands-on pedagogy in social and professional integration of Youth based on the 15 years experience of Life Project 4 Youth Foundation, LP4Y, specialized in integration of excluded Youth.
In a team, the Youth create and develop micro-companies in order to develop skills, gain self-esteem and become actors of their life.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Salary: INR 20,000 per month (non-negotiable)

Contract : local contract
Duration : 12 months (renewable)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meet, develop and create links with integration partners and different Youth Inclusion stakeholders
- Helping create the bridge with young people in conjunction with integration partners: companies, organizations, etc.
- Support Youth on their professional project while in training
- Support and animate the STARS Club (alumni club) of Youth after their training
- Raise awareness of the Youth Inclusion practices that LP4Y has been developing for 10 years
- Prepare young adults for their entry into the job market,
- Advocate for professional and social inclusion
- Report on the number of Youth integrated
For this mission the Project Manager Integration should be caring and responsible. She/he will keep a positive, encouraging and valorizing look on the Youth, keeping in mind the influence of the image of himself/herself she can reflect.
Profile:
- Education: Bachelor or Master Degree directly linked to the mission would be an asset. Your whole profile will matter.
- At least 24 years old
- Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated.
- Motivated and proactive profile who likes challenges and works in autonomy.
- Volunteer spirit.
- Will to commit for the inclusion of excluded youth.
- Ready to learn and grow.
Skills:
- Fluent in the Local and English language.
- Advance knowledge in MS office (word, excel, drive, email…)
- Team work : demonstrate ability to work in a multicultural, multi ethnic environment and to maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
- Communicating and information sharing: facilitate and encourage open communication and transversal projects.
- Self-management, emotional intelligence and organizational Skills : stay composed and positive even in difficult moments, handle tense situations with diplomacy and tact, and take initiatives.
