ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.
Job Description: The role requires the Manager – CSR Business (Fund Raising & Implementation) to lead CSR partnerships, business development, proposal management, donor engagement, and implementation coordination for CSR-funded projects and development initiatives in the agriculture and allied sectors.
CSR Fund Raising: Identify and engage corporates, CSR foundations, donor agencies, and funding institutions for mobilization of CSR and development sector projects.
Business Development: Develop strategic partnerships with industries, corporate houses, PSUs, philanthropic organizations, and implementation partners for expanding ASCI’s CSR portfolio.
Proposal Development: Prepare concept notes, project proposals, presentations, budgets, and partnership documents aligned with CSR priorities and organizational objectives.
Client & Donor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with CSR heads, corporate representatives, donor agencies, and institutional stakeholders.
Project Implementation Coordination: Support planning, execution, monitoring, and coordination of CSR-funded projects in collaboration with implementation teams, training partners, and field stakeholders.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare project progress reports, utilization reports, impact summaries, case studies, presentations, and donor communication documents.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with government departments, industries, NGOs, training institutions, and community-level stakeholders for smooth implementation of projects.
Monitoring & Compliance: Ensure timely achievement of project deliverables, documentation standards, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations under CSR projects.
Data Management: Maintain project databases, donor records, partnership trackers, and implementation progress data.
Support Organizational Initiatives: Assist in overall implementation of ASCI projects – Govt/CSR/Fee-based – and contribute towards institutional growth and sustainability.
Additional Tasks: Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators and Competencies:
• Strong communication skills and English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
•Ability to handle complex assignments independently.
• Excellent command on MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Meticulous, process-oriented and attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work with leadership team members and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear understanding and interest in the agriculture and vocational skill ecosystem.
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, craft solutions and recommend actions.
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, Development Studies, Social Work, Management, or Allied Sector, preferably from IRMA/MANAGE/NIAM/VAMNICOM/TISS/IIPM or any other reputed institute.
Experience (no. of years & kind):
5 years of relevant experience in CSR partnerships, business development, donor engagement, proposal development, fundraising, or implementation of CSR/development sector projects, preferably in agriculture, skilling, livelihoods, or rural development sectors.
SALARY:
As per industry standards and candidate experience.
