About the Fellowship
The Community Fellowship is designed for young people who are passionate about social change and wish to gain practical experience in the development sector. The fellowship provides hands-on exposure to community-based programmes, research, advocacy, training, and stakeholder engagement related to child rights and community development.

The position is particularly suitable for fresh graduates and students pursuing BA/MA or similar courses through distance learning or open university programmes, who are able to commit regular time for field and office-based work.

Key Responsibilities
Support community-based initiatives related to child rights, education, child protection, and social inclusion.
Participate in field visits, awareness campaigns, consultations, and training programmes.
Assist in conducting community assessments, surveys, and data collection activities.
Support documentation of field experiences, success stories, case studies, and programme reports.
Assist in research, proposal development, and knowledge management activities.
Support communication and outreach efforts, including social media and digital content.
Coordinate with community members, schools, government departments, and partner organisations as required.
Contribute to organisational learning and programme development processes.

Eligibility
Fresh graduates or students pursuing BA, MA, MSW, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Political Science, Psychology, or related disciplines through regular or distance learning programmes.
Strong interest in child rights, education, gender, community development, and social justice issues.
Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
Willingness to travel locally and interact with diverse communities.
Commitment to learning, teamwork, and professional conduct.
