LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, and Eye Care and is governed by a board of distinguished individuals from across India. SAATHII is selected as the Principal Recipient (PR) to implement the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM) supported HIV and TB projects for 2024-27. LEPRA Society will lead as a Sub Recipient for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
ABOUT PROJECT : NACO revised the UNAIDS fast track strategy of 95:95:95 under NACP-V to 95:95:99 with a goal to attain HIV epidemic control in India by 1st December, 2027. We need to ensure 95-95-99 and triple elimination is achieved by 1st December, 2026 and this status is maintained for a year till 1st December, 2027. Accordingly, a new campaign known as Mobilisation AIDS Suraksha (MAS) was launched on 10th February, 2026 by ASDG NACO. 219 districts among the 758 spread across 18 states in the country were identified as priority districts depending on the PR, incidence, burden and HRG population under NACP. In Telangana, 19 districts were identified as priority and Sahyogis to facilitate with the district stakeholders in achieving the goal.
LEPRA Society is the Sub-Recipient (SR) of GC7 HIV grant from in Telangana where SAATHII is the Principal Recipient (PR) through GFATM. The SR need to recruit Sahyogis for 5 districts namely Adilabad, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Warangal and JayShankar Bhupalapally.
The positions are for immediate employment
Job Description:
• Play the catalyst role in the district to achieve Surakshit + category by 01.12.2026
• Conduct Input Readiness Exercise (IRE) under your respective district in coordination with Sanyojak, TGSACS and DAPCU/DISHA and District health authorities (DMHO/ADMHO)
• Coordinate with DAPCU teams to address the challenges identified in the previous IRE before the IRE taken up for the current month
• Coordinate with the district level stakeholders to organize district level MAS review meeting
Technical /Area of Expertise:
• Able to operate smart phone in a hassle-free manner and attend virtual calls
• Able to enter the data through kobo tool box forms – online mode
Requirements:
Total: Any graduation with a minimum of 2 yrs experience Relevant: 1 yr – experience in health sector is an added advantage
Skills required:
• Primary: Able to read and write English and Telugu scripts / text and willing to travel by public transport
• Secondary: Operate computer
