Location: Keonjhar, Odisha with frequent travel to other districts
Consultancy Period: 8 months
Breakthrough is seeking a driven and ambitious Consultant for its Scale up project at Keonjhar, Odisha. The role involves frequent traveling to other districts of Odisha. It involves monitoring and supporting the implementation of the program across schools in different districts. The individual will engage with key education stakeholders at school, cluster, block, and district levels, facilitate meetings and events, and participate in program-related trainings.
Tenure: This consultancy role requires full time availability for 8 months.
The detailed role and responsibilities are mentioned below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake school level process monitoring visits in Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanja and Keonjhar;
- Conduct debrief and other district engagement meetings with eco system stakeholders at School, cluster, block and district;
- Attend the program induction training at state office and gain fair understanding on gender curriculum and GTE;
- Attend the Process monitoring refresher training at state office;
- Organize planned meetings and events in assigned districts;
- Prepare stories of change;
- Support research and other activities as and when needed.
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience required;
- The position requires excellent government coordination skills and approach stakeholder’s in professional traits;
- Emerging project management and project implementation experience required;
- Technical skill in updating data in ODK and other tech platforms;
- On field strong planning execution expertise and maintain work plan and ensure project deliverables;
- Adequate writing skill in Odia and English;
- Maintain good relation and anchor positioning of Breakthrough in different district level platforms.
