Manav Seva Sansthan (SEVA) is a voluntary, non-profit development organization established in 1988 and working to promote inclusive, sustainable, and community-led development across vulnerable and underserved populations. SEVA works across agriculture, livelihoods, climate resilience, women empowerment, social inclusion, and rural development through community-owned and evidence-based approaches.
Position Overview
Manav Seva Sansthan (SEVA) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Program Manager – Agriculture & Climate Change Resilience to lead strategic and field-level interventions focused on climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, ecosystem restoration, adaptation planning, and community resilience systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification (Preferred)
• M.Sc. (Agriculture) preferred
• Additional specialization in Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Agribusiness, Rural Development, Environmental Sciences, or allied disciplines will be an advantage.
Experience (Mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in Agriculture, Climate Change, Livelihoods, Rural Development, NGO/CSR, donor-funded, or government-supported projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program leadership and management roles.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale field implementation and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in climate adaptation, resilient agriculture, farmer institutions, and rural systems strengthening preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead design and implementation of Agriculture & Climate Change Resilience programs.
• Develop and scale climate-smart agriculture and resilient livelihood models.
• Strengthen adaptation planning, sustainable land use, and community resilience mechanisms.
• Coordinate with government departments, technical agencies, academic institutions, and development partners.
• Ensure achievement of program targets, outcomes, and quality standards.
• Lead budgeting, compliance, donor reporting, and knowledge management.
• Promote innovation in water security, soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem restoration.
• Strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and evidence-based decision systems.
