Labannya, a Kolkata-based non-profit organization, has been working since 2011 in the areas of rural women’s empowerment, livelihood generation, and ecological restoration. As part of its expanded initiatives to support economically disadvantaged rural communities across West Bengal, the organization invites applications from qualified and committed candidates for the following position:

Project Coordinator (Agro / Livestock / Fishery / Environment)

Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
1. Female candidates aged between 25 and 45 years, and permanent residents of West Bengal.

2. Master's Degree in any one of the following disciplines:
o Agriculture
o Animal Husbandry
o Fishery Science
o Environmental Science

3. Proven experience in:
o Training and capacity building
o Advocacy and stakeholder engagement
o Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
o Computer applications including MS Office or Tally

4. Willingness and ability to undertake extensive fieldwork, including 15–20 days of travel per month across different districts of West Bengal.

5. Preference will be given to candidates who are free from significant time-bound commitments and can join immediately.

6. Candidate must possess her own laptop.

Compensation
• Annual CTC: INR 2,10,000 – 3,50,000
• Approved field-related expenses will be reimbursed separately.

Employment Terms
• The appointment will initially be on a contractual basis.
