About the Role:
Sesame Workshop India Trust is hiring for the role of District Lead. The District Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing programme implementation across assigned district(s). The role involves working closely with schools, communities, government stakeholders, and field teams to ensure e@ective delivery of programme activities and achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of programme activities in assigned district(s) as per approved plans and timelines.
• Develop district-level implementation plans and monitor progress against agreed targets.
• Coordinate with district and block-level government o@icials, school authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Supervise and support field sta@, volunteers, and facilitators engaged in programme implementation.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities, provide guidance, and address implementation challenges.
• Facilitate trainings, meetings, workshops, and community engagement activities as required.
• Maintain programme records and ensure timely submission of reports, data, and documentation.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including data collection and verification.
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies, safeguarding standards, and programme guidelines.
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualification & Experience:
• Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Education, Rural Development, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in programme implementation, community development, education, public health, or related sectors.
• Experience working with government departments and community stakeholders will be preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Hindi and basic computer applications.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned district(s).
