The Eye Bank Society of Rajasthan (EBSR), established in 2002, is one of the leading organisations in North India dedicated to the noble mission of eradicating corneal blindness through eye donation, cornea retrieval, transplantation, and awareness generation. Over the years, EBSR has touched thousands of lives by giving the gift of sight and continues to work tirelessly in collaboration with hospitals, NGOs, government institutions, and community stakeholders.

Role Overview
The Manager will serve as a key link between strategy and execution, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Eye Bank’s operations, outreach, and partnerships. The role requires both managerial acumen and a passion for social impact, as the Manager will oversee daily operations, awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Administration
• Supervise the day-to-day working of the Eye Bank, ensuring adherence to ethical practices and national eye banking guidelines.
• Lead, guide, and motivate staff across chapters for efficient functioning.
• Ensure timely record-keeping, documentation, and submission of reports to statutory bodies, partners and the Board.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cornea retrieval, preservation, and distribution.
2. Program & Project Management
• Conceptualise, design, and execute projects aimed at eye donation awareness and corneal blindness prevention.
• Expand and strengthen the Hospital Cornea Retrieval Program (HCRP) by developing partnerships with hospitals and medical professionals.
• Regularly monitor field activities, evaluate progress, and recommend course corrections to improve impact.
3. Community Engagement & Awareness
• Plan and organise community-level events, awareness rallies, school/college programs, and workshops in collaboration with local bodies and NGOs.
• Promote eye donation through storytelling, testimonials, and digital/social media campaigns.
• Mobilise volunteers, community leaders, and youth groups as champions of the cause.
4. Stakeholder Management
• Act as a bridge between EBSR and its wide network of donors, medical professionals, government officials, and partner organisations.
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, government agencies, CSR partners, and philanthropic organisations.
• Represent EBSR in state and national level forums, seminars, and conferences.
5. Finance & Resource Mobilisation
• Support in preparing annual budgets, financial plans, and utilisation reports.
• Coordinate resource mobilisation for awareness drives, eye donation camps, and infrastructure support.
Desired Profile of the Candidate:
Educational Qualifications:
o Postgraduate in Social Work / Management / Public Health / Life Sciences / Hospital Administration or equivalent.
Experience:
o At least 7-8 years of experience in program management, preferably in the healthcare, NGO, or eye banking sector.
o Experience in leading teams, managing multi-stakeholder projects
Skills & Competencies:
o Strong leadership and people management abilities.
o Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
o Proficiency in MS Office, data management, and presentation tools.
o Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence in day-to-day work
o Ability to multitask, travel, and work under challenging field conditions.
o Passion for social causes and commitment to community service.
o Knowledgeable in handling Social Media.
