About the Organization
Nari Gunjan (Women's Voice), founded in 1987 under the leadership of Padmashree awardee Sudha Varghese, is a non-profit organization based in Patna, Bihar. The organization works extensively with the Musahar community, focusing on women's economic empowerment, education, and health. In collaboration with an international agency, Nari Gunjan is implementing a project to mainstream out-of-school children across five blocks (Punpun, Bihta, Phulwarisharif, Danapur, Marhaura). The Mobile Learning Resource Centre initiative is a unique intervention to create mass awareness and ensure girls are mainstreamed into government schools.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Block-Level Planning & Implementation: Lead all project activities across ASK and KK centres; prepare block-level activity plans; coordinate with teachers, ICTs, CMs, and PCs.
Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular visits; monitor classroom quality, nutrition, and community engagement; consolidate reports; submit detailed progress reports.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Organize mothers' meetings, adolescent empowerment sessions, awareness workshops; strengthen parent-child relationships; support beneficiary identification and inclusion.
Staff & Team Coordination: Supervise and mentor block-level staff; ensure alignment with project objectives.
Government Schemes & Entitlements: Facilitate access to Bihar government schemes (education, nutrition, health, livelihood, social security); maintain records of beneficiaries.
Livelihood, Cleanliness & Empowerment: Coordinate skill-building and livelihood initiatives; organize cleanliness drives; engage adolescents in life skills and leadership activities.

Timely submission of block-level reports
Number of beneficiaries enrolled and verified
Improvement in attendance, nutrition, and learning outcomes
Mahadalit families accessing government entitlements
Livelihood initiatives launched and participants engaged
Cleanliness/sanitation drives conducted
Adolescent empowerment sessions delivered
Success stories documented

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Management, or related field
4-6 years of experience in block-level project coordination/community development
Strong monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in team management and working with marginalized communities
Familiarity with Bihar government schemes and entitlements
Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and reporting
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi

Remuneration
Honorarium: 15,000 per month
Travel allowance: 6,000 per month
