SHARE INDIA is a public health organization that has been partnering with government health systems since 1986 to strengthen health programmes through research, technical assistance, and implementation support.
Applications are invited for multiple short-term consultancy positions under the TB–MNCH Integration Project, an innovative implementation initiative being implemented by SHARE INDIA with support from JSI under the Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA Bharat) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The project seeks to strengthen the integration of tuberculosis (TB) services within routine maternal healthcare by embedding TB screening, diagnosis, treatment support, TB preventive treatment, and referral services into antenatal and postnatal care platforms. Working closely with government health systems, the project aims to improve early identification and comprehensive care for pregnant and postpartum women while generating implementation evidence to inform future scale-up.
Nature of Engagement: Short-Term Consultancy
Assignment Duration: August 2026 – March 2027

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer — Data Intelligence & CQI
Position summary
The MEL Officer will lead the project’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning functions. The role is responsible for strengthening data systems, tracking project performance, ensuring data quality, generating insights for decision-making, and supporting evidence-based programme improvements. The MEL Officer will work closely with field teams to ensure timely reporting, performance monitoring, and effective use of data to improve project outcomes.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and manage project monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to track implementation progress and outcomes.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data management processes to support programme monitoring.
• Analyse project data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving programme performance.
• Conduct routine data quality assessments and support field teams in strengthening reporting practices.
• Generate periodic analytical reports, performance summaries, and evidence products for project leadership and stakeholders.
• support documentation of lessons learned, innovations, and implementation experiences.
• Collaborate with district teams to ensure timely availability and utilization of programme data for decision-making.
• Provide technical support for integration and effective use of digital health information systems.
Qualifications and experience
• MPH / MSc (Epidemiology / Biostatistics) / MCA or equivalent postgraduate qualification with strong quantitative orientation
• Minimum 5 years in M&E, data management, or health informatics in a public health programme setting
• Proficiency in Excel dashboard building; Power BI and Looker Studio experience preferred
• Telugu proficiency desirable
