SHARE INDIA is a public health organization that has been partnering with government health systems since 1986 to strengthen health programmes through research, technical assistance, and implementation support.
Applications are invited for multiple short-term consultancy positions under the TB–MNCH Integration Project, an innovative implementation initiative being implemented by SHARE INDIA with support from JSI under the Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA Bharat) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The project seeks to strengthen the integration of tuberculosis (TB) services within routine maternal healthcare by embedding TB screening, diagnosis, treatment support, TB preventive treatment, and referral services into antenatal and postnatal care platforms. Working closely with government health systems, the project aims to improve early identification and comprehensive care for pregnant and postpartum women while generating implementation evidence to inform future scale-up.
Nature of Engagement: Short-Term Consultancy
Assignment Duration: August 2026 – March 2027
Consultants will be engaged for the duration of the project, subject to satisfactory performance, organizational policies, and project requirements. Detailed job descriptions, eligibility criteria, and application instructions are provided below.
Maternity and TB Coordinating Health Officer (MATCHO)— District Level Coordinator
Number of positions : 4 Positions (ALLURI SITHARAMA RAJU (ASR) / Anakapalli (Andhra Pradesh; Suryapet / Sangareddy (Telanagana)
Position summary
The MATCHO will serve as the district-level coordinator responsible for overseeing day-to-day implementation of project activities. Working closely with district health authorities and project staff, the MATCHO will facilitate coordination, monitor field implementation, support capacity-building activities, and ensure that project interventions are delivered effectively across health facilities within the district. The role will act as the key link between field teams, government stakeholders, and project leadership.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate implementation of project activities at district level in collaboration with district health authorities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams and district stakeholders for planning, review, and problem-solving.
• Supervise district-based project staff and provide supportive oversight to ensure quality implementation.
• Monitor service delivery, identify operational challenges, and facilitate timely corrective actions.
• Support organization of trainings, review meetings, and capacity-strengthening initiatives.
• Promote integration of TB screening, referral, diagnosis, treatment linkage, and prevention services within maternal healthcare settings.
• Track district-level performance indicators and support data-driven programme improvements.
• Contribute to project reporting, documentation, and dissemination of implementation experiences.
Qualifications and Experiences:
• MBBS / MPH / BPH or bachelor's in nursing/life sciences with public health postgraduate qualification
• Minimum 5 years of field-level experience in NTEP or NHM programme implementation at block or district level
• Prior experience managing frontline teams in a government-partnership model
• Familiarity with MIS dashboards for performance management
• For ALLURI SITHARAMA RAJU (ASR) posting prior experience in tribal / hard-to-reach geographies in Andhra Pradesh preferred
