Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations to support and coordinate day-to-day operational activities across assessment, training, and scheme-implementation functions. The role involves working closely with internal teams, empaneled assessors/trainers, and partner organizations (such as Sector Skill Councils and government skilling bodies) to ensure smooth execution of projects and compliance with program guidelines.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. Assessment & Batch Coordination
• Coordinate with assessors on batch scheduling and ensure smooth execution of assessment activities
• Monitor ongoing batches across multiple SSC sectors to ensure timely completion and compliance
• Coordinate online assessment activities conducted through Zoom and other virtual platforms where applicable
2. Evidence & Portal Management
• Manage end-to-end evidence handling — downloading assessment evidence and uploading documents to the company portal
• Upload and manage assessment results on the SIDH portal (or other designated result-management portals)
• Maintain systematic digital and hardcopy records of assessment documentation
3. Result Processing & Reporting
• Prepare and manage assessment results using MS Excel with a high degree of accuracy
• Prepare and share timely operational reports (e.g., daily/morning-evening status updates) with SSC teams and management
• Maintain trackers for pending and completed assessment batches
4. Stakeholder & SSC Communication
• Liaise with Sector Skill Councils (e.g., NSDC, NCVET, TNSDC, TSSC, HSSC, FICSI, HMCGSSC, GJSSC, and others) on operational updates, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Respond promptly to critical operational requests and queries over email and coordination groups (e.g., WhatsApp)
• Communicate assessment results and status updates clearly to SSC teams and other partners
5. Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records to support audits and government scheme compliance requirements
• Organize and archive operational documentation systematically for easy retrieval
6. Team Coordination & Process Support
• Support and guide junior operations staff, especially during high-workload periods
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement of operational workflows
• Coordinate with content, finance, and HR teams as needed for smooth program execution

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred: BBA/MBA)
• 2 years of experience in operations, program management, or coordination roles — experience in the skill development / vocational education / assessment sector preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and general MS Office / Google Workspace tools
• Familiarity with assessment/result portals (e.g., SIDH) and evidence management workflows is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage documentation for compliance-driven projects
• Familiarity with skilling ecosystem stakeholders (NSDC, NCVET, Sector Skill Councils) is an advantage
