About the Organization:
Nari Gunjan, founded in 1987 under the leadership of Padmashree awardee Sudha Varghese, is a Patna-based non-profit working extensively with the Musahar community. The organization focuses on women’s empowerment, education, and health. In collaboration with an international agency, Nari Gunjan is implementing a project to mainstream out-of-school children across five blocks in Bihar through innovative interventions such as the Mobile Learning Resource Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct classroom observations and prepare improvement plans.

Mentor and coach teachers in lesson planning, MGML, FLN, and classroom management.

Deliver demonstration classes and monitor progress.

Oversee nutrition-related activities and integrate awareness into classroom sessions.

Submit fortnightly and monthly reports, document success stories, and ensure compliance.

Engage with parents and communities to strengthen education and nutrition initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Classroom observations and demonstration classes conducted.

Improvement in teacher performance and student learning outcomes.

Effective use of MGML and TLMs.

Documentation of success stories and timely reporting.

Qualifications:
Master’s/Bachelor’s in Education, Social Work, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in teacher training, classroom mentoring, or programme implementation.

Strong understanding of FLN, MGML, and nutrition education.

Experience in community engagement and working with marginalized groups.

Skills in documentation, reporting, and compliance.

Remuneration:
Honorarium: 20,000 per month
Travel allowance: 6,000 per month

Contract: One-year contract, renewable based on performance and funding availability.
