Position Summary
Doers is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the implementation of a multi-state Road Safety and Emergency Response project. The Project Manager will oversee the deployment of ambulances in selected district hospitals across selected states and coordinate the installation of road safety signages at identified locations. The role requires strong project management capabilities, extensive coordination with government departments and healthcare institutions, stakeholder engagement, field monitoring, donor reporting, documentation, and knowledge management while ensuring timely and quality implementation. The role also requires close coordination with internal teams, organizing review meetings and stakeholder consultations, and extensive travel to project locations to ensure successful project delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
• Master's degree in Social Work, Disaster Management, Rural Development, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience in project management and implementation, preferably in emergency response, road safety, disaster management, or development programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, report writing, and documentation abilities
• Strong understanding of project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting processes, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools, including AI applications, graphic design softwares, and digital mapping tools.
• Language proficiency in English and Hindi.
