Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all project related activities at the district level.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly work plans and progress reports.
• Ensure timely implementation of project activities according to project guidelines and instruction received from coordination team/central team.
• Build relationships with communities, village leaders, Panchayats, youth groups, and women's groups.
• Organize awareness campaigns/camps on regular basis on issues like child trafficking, child labour, and child marriage. Facilitate community meetings, rallies, school programs, and village-level events.
• Coordinate identification, rescue, referral, and rehabilitation of vulnerable children.
• Ensure the regular follow-up of rescued children and school dropout children.
• Coordinate & liaise with district administration and relevant departments including Women & Child Development, Labour, Education, Police, Social Welfare, Health, Child Welfare Committees (CWC), District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), police, and other stakeholders.
• Advocate for effective implementation of child protection laws and government schemes.
• Strengthen Child welfare Protection committee formally known as village child protection committees and adolescent groups in the villages and panchayats/s.
• Conduct regular field visits and provide technical guidance. Monitor project indicators and ensure quality implementation.
• Maintain files of beneficiary records, case files, and activity documentation in the office.
• Collect success stories, photographs, and case studies. Ensure accurate data entry and project and case documentation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies.
• Any other project/programme related assignments or work given by the seniors.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Rural Development, Psychology, or any other related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in child protection, anti-human trafficking, child labour, or child rights projects. (Freshers are also encouraged to apply if they have a passion to work in the field of child protection)
• Brief/ basic knowledge of POCSO Act, Child Marriage Prohibition Act, JJ Act and Child Labour Act.
• Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the district.
• Working experience with district Government agencies will be an added advantage.

Note:
A candidate needs to be a computer savvy, able to work on MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.
