1. Position: Senior Program Manager – Skill Development
Work Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand
Salary: Up to Rs 7,20,000 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Senior Program Manager – Skill Development to lead the implementation and management of government-funded skill development projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong operational expertise in schemes such as DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NSDC, or other Skill India initiatives, along with hands-on experience in project implementation, compliance management, and portal operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end planning, implementation, and monitoring of skill development projects.
• Ensure compliance with government guidelines, SOPs, quality standards, and project deliverables.
• Oversee training centre operations, documentation, MIS, reporting, and record management.
• Manage programme portals, including candidate registration, batch creation, assessments, certification, placements, and post-placement tracking.
• Coordinate effectively with Government Departments, Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), NSDC, funding agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor training quality, project progress, placements, and post-placement support to achieve project objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams to ensure operational excellence and timely achievement of targets.
• Prepare periodic reports, presentations, and documentation, and facilitate internal and external audits.
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA, MSW, or equivalent qualification preferred).
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in government-funded skill development programmes such as DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NSDC, or similar initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with the DDU-GKY portal and/or other Skill India programme portals will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of government compliance requirements, documentation, MIS, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred Profile
• Experience in managing multiple training centres and project teams.
• Strong understanding of the DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NSDC, and Skill India ecosystem.
• Ability to liaise effectively with government officials, implementing agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
