Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
• Post graduate in Social Work, Development Studies, Rural Development, Project Management, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• PhD is an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management.
• Experience managing donor-funded development programs.
• Experience in women's empowerment, gender equality, livelihoods, community development, or protection programming.
• Experience in Results-Based Management (RBM), logical frameworks, monitoring and evaluation, and donor reporting.
• Experience in proposal development and fundraising is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent program planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent report writing skills in English.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Budget monitoring and financial management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Languages:
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Malayalam.
Contract Duration:
Full-time position linked to the implementation of the 2027–2031, with responsibility for supporting the preparation and development of subsequent project phases.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance of the Women's Empowerment, Gender Equality, and Community Resilience Program (2027–2031). The position will ensure the effective delivery of program activities, achievement of expected results, compliance with donor requirements, and efficient use of resources.
The Program Coordinator will lead program planning, results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, donor reporting, and budget oversight. He/she will also play a key role in preparing the next phase of the program, including program design, proposal development, logical framework preparation, budgeting, and resource mobilization.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with director, finance staff, field teams, community groups, government institutions, external consultants, and funding partner.
