I. Introduction

Established in 2007 as an associate organization of Tata Trusts, CInI has pioneered several scalable and impactful programs across key thematic areas—Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH), Education, Sports, Primary Healthcare & Nutrition. Our initiatives are aligned with the?Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030?and have been recognised on national and international platforms.
CInI anchors its work in community institutions, women’s collectives, and frontline workers. In partnership with CSOs and State Governments, we leverage technology, and robust processes to deliver sustainable, scalable impact—powered by 300+ development professionals across implementation geographies.
II. Job Purpose:
To provide technical leadership and field-level support for the implementation of the Livestock Development Programme under the Lakhpati Kissan Programme, with a focus on improving livestock-based incomes through effective animal health services, capacity building, field monitoring, market linkages, entrepreneurship development, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
III. Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensuring income envisaged for each of the prototypes – Pig, Goat, Backyard poultry as per designing of the program
2. Coordinate with Animal Husbandry department and ensure regular Health/Vaccination camps in all Programme village and veterinary support services to farmers.
3. Ensure Capacity Building of Block Technical Team & GSPs/LSPs/Entrepreneurs in Implementing Livestock Improvement Programme.
4. Regular field supervision, Monitoring, MIS and Monthly and quarterly reporting of the Livestock Program of Tundi
5. Integrating market platform with various FPOs for the marketing livestock
6. Rolling out of the entrepreneurships model for all the livestock thematic prototypes
7. Supporting Theme Anchor by data analysis for preparing financial and narrative reports pertaining to livestock related grants
8. Executing other project activities under her/his given project village
IV. Eligibility and requirements
Education: M.V.Sc. /B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Veterinary)
Experience: Minimum 3 yrs. of field experience of working on livestock development, preferably with small ruminants
Skills, Competencies and Experience:
1. Field visits and handholding support to Field staffs and farmers.
2. Good Communication & Documentation skills.
3. Good knowledge of Hindi and English.
4. Computer Knowledge in MS office.
5. Willing to work with community.
