Job Description – Site Supervisor

**Project:** Strengthening Climate-Resilient Water Security and Ecological Resilience
**Location:** Jodhpur & Phalodi, Rajasthan
**Position:** Site Supervisor
**No. of Positions:** 2
**Reporting To:** Project Engineer / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct regular visits to assigned project sites.
* Supervise day-to-day execution of pond rejuvenation, taanka and farm pond construction activities.
* Ensure work is carried out as per approved technical specifications and instructions of the Project Engineer.
* Monitor labour, materials, equipment and daily work progress at site.
* Check quality of construction work and immediately report deviations or defects.
* Maintain daily site records, measurements, labour details and work-progress records.
* Take geo-tagged/site photographs and maintain activity documentation wherever required.
* Coordinate with local workers, contractors, beneficiaries and community members at the site.
* Ensure basic safety practices are followed during construction activities.
* Report delays, material requirements, technical issues and site-level challenges to the Project Engineer.
* Support measurement and verification of completed works.
* Assist in site-level monitoring of micro-irrigation and other physical interventions.
* Support the Project Engineer in preparing technical progress updates.
* Assist during inspection, verification and handover of completed structures.

Key Deliverables

* Daily/regular supervision of assigned sites.
* Quality and timely execution of site activities.
* Accurate site records and measurements.
* Timely reporting of site issues.
* Proper photographic and field documentation.

Qualification & Experience

* Diploma/ITI/Graduate qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Rural Development or related field.
* **Minimum 2 years of relevant site supervision experience**.
* Experience in rural infrastructure, civil construction, water harvesting or similar projects will be preferred.
* Willingness to undertake extensive field travel.

Remuneration
