Purpose of the Role

Antahin Abha Foundation is hiring Block Program Coordinators to support the implementation of NRich-ECCE across selected blocks in West Bengal. This role will manage block-level implementation and provide close operational support to schools, teachers, Anganwadi workers, and field facilitators. The person will ensure that the NRich-ECCE model is translated into actual classroom practice.
The Block Program Coordinator will support teacher training, TLM usage, Digital tools, field visits, data collection, and classroom-level problem-solving.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with schools and communities and wants to help teachers bring joyful, play-based learning into low-resource classrooms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate NRich-ECCE implementation across assigned block/s.
2. Work closely with schools, ICDS centres, teachers, Anganwadi workers, and local supervisors.
3. Support teacher onboarding, workshop attendance, TLM use, AskAbha adoption, and activity implementation.
4. Supervise Field Facilitators and ensure regular classroom visits.
5. Collect and validate field-level data through AbhaConnect.
6. Track activity usage, teacher engagement, classroom observations, and child progress indicators.
7. Identify teachers or centres needing additional support.
8. Conduct small-group refresher sessions and activity demonstrations where needed.
9. Share field insights, challenges, and success stories with the District Program Manager.
10. Support parent/community engagement where relevant.

Ideal Profile

1. 3–7 years of experience in field operations, education programs, teacher support, community mobilization, or NGO implementation.
2. Experience working in rural schools, ICDS centres, SSKs, or government education programs preferred.
3. Strong local-language communication skills.
4. Ability to build trust with teachers, caregivers, school leaders, and local stakeholders.
5. Comfortable using mobile apps and WhatsApp-based tools.
6. Willingness to travel frequently across villages and schools.
