SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action) is a Mumbai-based non-profit working to improve the health, nutrition, and well-being of women and children in vulnerable communities.

About the Role
We are looking for a Program Officer to support the ASHA Mentoring Project in Bhiwandi, focusing on strengthening ASHA capacity, improving health service delivery, and building effective partnerships with public health systems.

Location: Bhiwandi

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement project activities with UPHCs, ASHAs, and field teams.
2. Organize trainings, mentoring sessions, and review meetings.
3. Strengthen referral linkages between UPHCs, PHCs, and hospitals.
4. Build relationships with health officials and other stakeholders.
5. Supervise and support field teams and troubleshoot on-ground challenges.
6. Manage program documentation, data, reports, and case stories.
7. Support ASHA capacity building and community-level interventions.

Requirements
Qualification: Graduate
Experience: 5–10 years in the social sector
Experience with UPHCs, ASHAs, public health systems, or mentoring preferred.
Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Hindi and Marathi required.
Willingness to travel and work in community settings.
