Summary:
Gram Jyoti is hiring for three positions under the Tribal Rights & Governance Strengthening Programme in Masaliya Block, Dumka District.

• Program Coordinator – Post-graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Law, Management, or a related field, with 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating the program at the block and district levels; overseeing the entire program and supervising Panchayat Coordinators; liaising with block and district administration and government departments regarding tribal collectives, social security schemes, entitlements, and forest rights; and ensuring compliance with donor and institutional reporting requirements.

• Panchayat Coordinator – Graduate in any discipline (preference given to Social Work, Law, or Rural Development) with 3 years of experience in field-level work or community mobilization. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating the program at the village and Panchayat levels; coordinating the program at the Panchayat level; facilitating coordination with PRIs (Panchayati Raj Institutions) and Gram Sabhas regarding tribal collectives, social security schemes, entitlements, and forest rights, while also supporting Gram Sabha meetings and strengthening governance systems; assisting tribal and vulnerable families in accessing public service delivery schemes; and providing support for Forest Rights Act (FRA) claims at the Panchayat level. And submitting the monthly work report to the Program Coordinator based on the monthly work plan.

• Accountant – Graduate/Post-graduate in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field, with 5 years of experience in project accounting (preference given to experience with NGOs or donor-funded projects). Responsibilities will include maintaining daily project accounts and vouchers, preparing budgets and utilization certificates, ensuring compliance with statutory and donor financial regulations, and coordinating with finance teams at both the program and head office levels.
