Position Title: Grant Management & MIS Manager
Organization: Jaineev Consulting LLP
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.

About the Role
Grant Management & MIS Manager will support the management of donor-funded projects and grants. The position will work closely with the Grant & Project Management Lead and will have an important role in financial monitoring, grant reporting, project MIS, data management and preparation of management information.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of project/grant financial management combined with strong Excel, data management and reporting skills, and strong knowledge of relevant tools and technology for automation of MIS and grant management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Grant & Project Financial Management
• Support financial monitoring of donor-funded grants and projects.
• Maintain project-wise budget, expenditure, commitment and balance information.
• Review financial reports and Utilisation Certificates (UCs) received from project partners.
• Monitor budget versus actual expenditure and identify significant variances.
• Support preparation and consolidation of donor financial reports.
• Track interest income, exchange-rate impacts and other relevant financial information.
• Coordinate with Finance and project teams to resolve financial reporting issues.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure audit readiness.
2. Project MIS & Data Management
• Maintain and update the project/grant MIS and master databases.
• Coordinate the preparation and updating of project-related infographics, visual dashboards and data presentations for management, donors and project stakeholders.
• Consolidate financial and programme data from different projects and partners.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly project performance reports.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of project data.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and unusual trends and follow up with relevant teams.
• Lead development of management dashboards and data visualizations.
• Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, project briefs, donor updates and management reports using appropriate charts, graphs and visualizations.
3. Project Implementation Support
• Track project activities against approved workplans and budgets.
• Monitor partner reporting and deliverable timelines.
• Follow up on pending financial and programme information.
• Support preparation of presentations, management reports and project review materials.
• Contribute to improving project reporting and grant management processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Statistics, Development Studies or a related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in donor-funded projects, development organizations, consulting or international organizations.
• Experience in grant/project financial management and reporting.
• Strong experience in MS Excel and data management. Knowledge of tech platforms such as Zoho, Power BI etc.
• Experience developing financial/project trackers and management reports using automated and tech/AI-enabled processes.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing deadlines.
• Familiarity with finance software such as QuickBooks and Xero
• Knowledge of tech based financial data management tools for automation
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory mechanisms, including FCRA and CSR rules.
