Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML) is an Associate Organisation of Tata Trusts and it imbibes the larger vision, values and goals of the Trusts. In education sector, CML is working for the betterment of Govt. Schools in Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Baksa, Nalbari & Kamrup districts. Our work areas involve reduction and prevention of dropouts in elementary schools and introduction of technology in teaching learning process in secondary schools.
CML is currently looking for suitable candidates to be engaged in its flagship project, Assam State Initiative-Education- Phase- 2 being implemented in Tamulpur, Srijangram and Balijana in Baksa, Bongaogaon and Goalpara districts in Assam. It is a project with key focus on improving the status of foundational Literacy & Numeracy and bringing dropout children of elementary level back to school .
Responsibility for the above position will be that of supporting the District Coordinators & Education Facilitators at district level along with planning, implementation and monitoring of the various project components of the initiative. She/he will be responsible for developing resource materials , teaching learning materials, designing training modules, conducting training, providing monitoring support to Education Facilitators and teachers in schools. She/he will be responsible to ensure timely deliverables and outreach of the project components. She/he will also be leading and managing the human resources during the implementation of the project. This position will be reporting to the District Coordinator, CML, Education.

Remuneration: INR 25,000 PM to 30,000 PM based on experience.
Key Responsibility:
• Developing Resource Materials, Designing training modules, conducting trainings: The Language Coordinator will be responsible for developing resource materials, designing training modules conducting trainings in their relevant subject areas.
• Implementation: The Language Coordinator will be responsible for the effective implementation of the project activities, adhering to the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). She/he will be responsible for ensuring implementation of activities as per the prescribed guidelines.
• Financial Management: The Language Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring judicious and effective utilization of budgets as per the project guidelines for the activities assigned to them.
• Monitoring and Documentation: The Language Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and review of the project activities time to time. She/he will also be responsible for ensuring proper documentation of implementation procedures, best practices, books and records.
• Reporting and Compliance: The Language Coordinator will be responsible for timely preparation and submission of various periodic reports/database including physical and financial components of the project. She/he will be responsible for regular and timely updates of information and data required as per the MIS system for the activities assigned to them.

Qualification:
MA in Assamese from Govt. recognized Institution/University.
Experience:
• Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences in Education Projects.
Language:
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Fluency in spoken Assamese and/or Bodo/Garo language will be an added advantage.
