Wellbeing Out of Waste (WOW) Project
Position: Enviro Executives (10 Nos.)

Wellbeing Out of Waste (WOW) is a flagship initiative launched by ITC Limited in alignment with the Swachh Bharat Mission (2.0) and Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026. Modern Architects for Rural India (MARI) NGO is implementing WOW project in partnership with Urban Local Bodies in Hyderabad, Telangana State. The WOW project currently impacts over 324 lakh citizens across 7 states including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi, Bengalore, Coimbatore. In Telangana alone, the initiative covers 18.9 lakh houholds across 1,120 municipal wards including hyderabad, peerzadiguda, khammam and karimnagar etc.,
The objectives of the WOW programme-promoting source segregation among students, households, and corporates through targeted information education and communication strategies and the Interschool Recycling Championship. Promoting sustainable livelihoods by integrating informal waste pickers and handlers into formal systems, providing stable incomes, safe working conditions, and social dignity.
Establishing and managing Material Recovery Facilities and Central Recycling Parks with automatic baling and sorting infrastructure).
Open Positions: Enviro Executives (total 10 nos.)
• 4 Enviro Executives - Colleges
• 4 Enviro Executives - Corporates
• 2 Enviro Executives - Schools & Community
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- + Rs. 5000/- (local conveyance) per month
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support the Project Manager in achieving the Key Project Indicators under the WOW Project.
• Obtain permissions and mobilize colleges, corporates, schools, and other stakeholder departments.
• Coordinate waste awareness drives and dry waste collection campaigns.
• Maintain field documentation and data for assigned institutions/sectors.
• Support the project team and actively contribute to overall project execution and goals.
Qualification, Skills & Competencies:
• Any fresh graduate - BBA, B.Com, B.Sc or Social Work background or relevant experience is highly regarded
• Must possess a two wheeler with a valid driving license for field travel.
• Basic understanding of Solid Waste Management Rules 2026
• Passion for environmental protection and dedication to hard work
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages, passion for environmental protection, and willingness to undertake field work.
