Candidate Eligibility & Key Skills
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Law, Gender Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of gender, women’s rights, law, and community development, including experience in leading and managing community-based projects.
Strong understanding of gender-related issues, women’s rights, legal frameworks, and community interventions.
Excellent documentation and report-writing skills, including proposal writing, project documentation, case studies, success stories, and analytical reports.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with community members, stakeholders, government departments, and partner organizations.
Strong team management and leadership skills, including the ability to guide field teams and monitor their performance.
Ability to manage field records, case records, project data, team reports, MIS, and other programme-related documentation systematically and accurately.
Good command of written and spoken English, particularly strong English writing skills.
Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and provide timely responses and deliverables.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with a commitment to completing assigned tasks within deadlines.
Must have access to a personal laptop, smartphone, and two-wheeler/scooty for field-related work.
Willingness and flexibility to work during late evenings when required and travel outside the project area occasionally.
Should be physically fit and able to undertake regular field visits and community-based work.
Ability to work under pressure, respond to short-notice assignments, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Good problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity while handling gender-based violence and women’s rights-related cases.
Experience in coordinating with police, legal service providers, government departments, community institutions, and other stakeholders will be an added advantage.
