ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND
MAMTA-Health Institute for Mother and Child, New Delhi; a Pan-India NGO, works on issues of health and development, with a focus on Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Adolescent/Young People’s Sexual Reproductive Health (YSRH), HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Non-Communicable Diseases since 1990. MAMTA HIMC is implementing a project with a focus on addressing calcium deficiency across the life cycle in Bisrakh Block (Gautam Buddh Nagar, UP) and Dhar/Indore (MP). Currently, MAMTA-HIMC is looking for a suitable candidate in the capacity of Project Coordinator in these locations with following key roles and responsibilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Implementation
• Mapping of Anganwadi centres (AWC) within project implementation geography.
• Prepare weekly work plans, and monitoring field schedules in selected AWCs based on project requirement.
• Support outreach workers in developing field visit plans.
• Ensure the field activities are executed according to schedule.
• Ensure timely and quality implementation of screening of beneficiaries for calcium deficiency, awareness sessions, community mobilisation, referral and follow-up activities.
• Identify the challenges for effective program implementation and provide solutions to team through mentoring.
• Conduct team review meetings to discuss achievements, challenges, action points and follow-up requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance of beneficiary database by field outreach workers through MIS.
• Regularly review and verify field data and present the quality check reports to supervisor monthly to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency with project records.

2. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain proper documentation of project activities, meetings, trainings, field visits, success stories, learnings and best practices.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports, activity updates, and other reports for donor submission.
• Develop learning tools, document case studies, and best practices for donor submission.

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Capacity Building
• Liaise with Health, ICDS and education department at district level for seeking administrative approvals.
• Coordinate with ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs, Medical Officers/MOICs, and other government stakeholders for program implementation at ground level and establish referral linkages.
• Facilitate capacity-building activities for ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs and Health & Wellness Ambassadors/school teachers on calcium and Vitamin D deficiency, screening, counselling, supplementation, referral and documentation.
• Share project progress, challenges, learnings and best practices with relevant stakeholders through monthly and quarterly convergence meetings with relevant stakeholders.

4. Administration, Logistics & Resource Management
• Coordinate with Head Office on administrative, financial and logistical requirements and ensure timely submission of supporting documents.
• Ensure availability, appropriate use and maintenance of project materials, screening tools, IEC materials, registers and training resources.
• Undertake any other project-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience, And Competencies:
• Paramedical/Medical graduate with MPH background and minimum 3 years of work experience in the Public Health Sector.
• Person with strong experience in program implementation, monitoring and excellent documentation skills will be given preference.
• Managerial and leadership skills
• Excellent written and communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Good computer skills, especially in MS Office and Internet.
• Willingness to travel in the field to support, and mentor project activities.
• Ability to accomplish tasks within time limits.
