Qualification

· B.Sc. MLT / DMLT / BMLT or equivalent qualification.

· Certification in Phlebotomy will be preferred.

· Training certification (ToT) will be an added advantage.

Experience

· Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Phlebotomy, Diagnostic Laboratory, or Healthcare Training.

· Experience in conducting classroom and practical training programs preferred.

· Knowledge of NSQF/Healthcare SSC standards is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

· Deliver theory and practical sessions on phlebotomy procedures.

· Train candidates on blood collection techniques, sample handling, and laboratory safety.

· Demonstrate the use of phlebotomy equipment and related medical tools.

· Ensure trainees understand infection control and biomedical waste management practices.

Assessment & Evaluation

· Conduct regular assessments, practical evaluations, and mock tests.

· Maintain trainee attendance, progress reports, and assessment records.

· Prepare trainees for certification assessments and examinations.

Laboratory Management

· Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and training aids.

· Maintain adequate inventory of consumables required for practical sessions.

· Follow safety and quality protocols in the laboratory.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain training records, batch files, assessment reports, and placement data.

· Submit periodic reports to the Project Coordinator/Management.

· Support MIS and compliance-related documentation.

Placement Support

· Assist trainees in interview preparation and employability skills.

· Coordinate with placement teams for trainee employment opportunities.

· Track post-placement performance and retention.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and laboratory practices.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and skill assessments.

· Good documentation and reporting skills.

· Computer proficiency in MS Office and online training platforms.
