Location: Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh
Essential Qualification:
• B.Tech in Food Technology
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the processing and value addition of Amla and other fruits into various products such as Amla Laddu, Barfi, Murabba, Candy, Juice, Squash, Jam, Pickle, and other value-added products.
• Develop and implement appropriate fruit preservation and processing techniques to enhance product quality and shelf life.
• Operate, maintain, and ensure the efficient utilization of modern food processing machinery and equipment.
• Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure smooth implementation of the processing schedule.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, packaging, and preservation of raw materials and finished products.
• Support the development and improvement of new, market-oriented, and value-added fruit-based products.
• Provide technical guidance and training to workers, entrepreneurs, SHGs, and other beneficiaries involved in fruit processing activities.
• Maintain production records, quality control records, stock details, and other required technical documentation.
• Support the organization of training programmes, demonstrations, workshops, and capacity-building activities related to fruit processing and value addition.
• Perform other technical and project-related responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
