Position Overview:

To build and manage LAHI's curriculum-linked, multilingual and reusable knowledge and resource system for school vocational education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop LAHI's overall content and knowledge architecture.
  • Identify resource needs from curriculum, teacher needs, implementation experience and recurring field problems.

  • Build a common-core + state-specific approach to content.
  • Lead multilingual translation and contextualisation across different states and Indian languages.
  • Ensure adaptations retain learning outcomes, pedagogy and assessment intent.
  • Manage writers, instructional designers, technical experts, illustrators, translators and production partners.
  • Establish standards for content briefs, technical review, pedagogical review and release.
  • Maintain resource registers, version control, ownership, permissions, review cycles and repositories.
  • Capture learning from LAHI's field work and convert it into reusable frameworks, tools, guides, cases and knowledge assets.
  • Use teacher and field feedback to continuously improve resources.
  • The source role similarly covers reuse/adaptation decisions, reusable versus state-specific content, versioning, repositories, rights and conversion of field learning into improved resources.

Requirements -

Minimum Experience:

  • Around 8–12 years of experience in educational content, curriculum, instructional design or knowledge management.
  • Strong curriculum interpretation and editorial skills.
  • Experience managing educational content-development teams and specialists.
  • Experience with multilingual content, localisation or state-level adaptation.
  • Ability to work with government and academic institutions.
  • Understanding of versioning, ownership, copyright and resource maintenance.
