POSITION ROLE

Field Officer, Programs (FLN Lead) will be responsible for effective implementation of FLN programs in Hyderabad urban locations in collaboration with the field team.

This is a dedicated technical role specifically for the FLN project. The FLN Lead brings specialist expertise in early grade literacy and numeracy, leads the development and contextualization of TLMs, designs and facilitates the Master Trainer Programme, and provides ongoing technical quality assurance across both the Demonstration schools and the System Strengthening track. This role should be filled by a practitioner with hands-on experience in NIPUN Bharat-aligned FLN programming and a working knowledge of Telugu-medium instruction.

They manage the implementation across both methods, leads the day-to-day relationship with the Hyderabad District Education Department.

Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Oversight & Quality Assurance

Experience on provides ongoing technical quality assurance across both the Demonstration schools and the System Strengthening track
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement processes for program effectiveness. Collaborate with program teams to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables. Ensure regular visits to project locations and provide feedback for timely corrective measures
Hand in experience on Build and strengthen relationships with government departments officials, and other stakeholders for advocacy, branding, and visibility

Capacity Building:

Self-driven,resultorientedandexperienceofsupport fieldteams. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Field Coordinators and other field staff.
Facilitate capacity-building initiatives to enhance capacity of project staff and other key partners including training, mentoring and leadership

Reporting & Documentation:

Oversee timely reporting, documentation, and knowledge management for internal and external stakeholders. Be responsible for collecting first-hand information from the ground and feeding into program planning upward with the program teams.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education / Social work, Development Studies, or related field. Master’s preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum 03years of experience in program management, preferably in Education sector. Hands-on experience in NIPUN Bharat-aligned FLN programming and a working knowledge of Telugu-medium instruction. Previous experience of designing and implementing Education projects would be an asset. Previous experience of working in urban context, especially in Hyderabad will be advantageous

Language Proficiency:Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Telugu, English.

Skills and Abilities: Excellent presentation, public speaking and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications. Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.

Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of hands-on experience in NIPUN Bharat-aligned FLN programming and a working knowledge of Telugu-medium instruction and government schemes. Expertise in early grade literacy and numeracy. Expertise in leads the development and contextualization of TLMs. Expertise in designs and facilitates the Master Trainer Programme.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA

Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.

Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

The written test will be conducted for the most highly rated applications.

Salary starts at INR 4,95,163 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
