Education: Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Demography, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related field. Master’s preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant role.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Ability to synthesize and interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making and program improvement. Proficiency in data management, analysis and visualization using tools such as SPSS, MS Excel, Power BI or other statistical software. Strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
Language Proficiency: The ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
Job Knowledge:Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, logframes, results frameworks, and theory of change. Good understanding of research designing, tools development, sampling methods, data validation checks and inferential analysis using primary and secondary data, preferably child related data. Understanding of data quality standards, and ethical principles related to data collection, survey methods, management, and reporting. Knowledge of digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO, ODK. Experience in dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
