POSITION ROLE
Field Coordinator, Programswill be responsible for working with the Manager and field implementation teams (including grants team) for monitoring and evaluation, research, documentation, facilitating learning platforms, generating MIS of field information. They will be responsible for institutionalizing knowledge and organizational learning based on the critical information collected from the programs including grants. They will also be responsible for enhancing impact through regular monitoring of programs ensuring quality control and evaluation, thus improving internal processes that results delivery in the field.
 
Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with program implementation teams to develop Annual Project Plans, Budgets and monitor the execution and outcomes.
  • Build capacity of program/field staff to develop instruments and design periodic (baseline, midline and end line) surveys and provide on-going support to field teams/programs as needed.
  • Plan   and   oversee   internal/ external   evaluations, reviews   and   impact assessments of the assigned projects including grants and other sources of funding.
  • Developing and managing M & E database and management dashboards.
  • Compiling quarterly, annual and other periodic reports based on the information collected from the field.
  • Managing, tracking and reporting of Detailed Implementation Plans of the project and grants.
  • Sharing updates at different levels and developing feedback loops, and,
  • Conducting data audits for confirming quality of reported information.
  • Develop, adapt and pilot innovative tools (including use of Information technology) in M&E for measurement and reporting of progress for the projects/programs.
  • Design solutions to improve information access, data sharing and facilitate knowledge generation and cross-learning.
  • Support the Business Development and Communication team by providing program insights through Data and Learning Documents collected from the field as required.
  • Conduct periodic assessment and analyze reports provided by the field teams and prepare project level reports - Track the plan verses progress and provide feedback.
  • Conduct periodic field visits for supportive supervision of the collaborating partners.
  • Conduct data quality audits and validate project data with available Primary & secondary source of evidence.
  • Any other responsibilities may be assigned by the Line Manager.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Statistics or other relevant areas preferred.
 
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Proven experience in designing and implementing MEL frameworks and systems.
 
Language Proficiency:Fluency to speak, read, and write in English. Knowledge of Hindi would be an advantage.
 
Skills and Abilities: Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, SPSS. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
 
Job Knowledge: Deep understanding of M&E methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Proficiency in data management, Data Visualization and analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Power BI or other statistical tools). Knowledge of project management principles and practices.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.
 
Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

Salary starts at INR 3,64,170 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
