About the Project: Project SAKSHAM is focused on strengthening the organizational capacities of grassroots Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). It provides capacity-building and thematic trainings on Organizational Leadership, Gender Sensitization, Program Management, Proposal Writing, MEAL, Financial Management, Governance, Communication, Resource Mobilisation, Advocacy and Local Governance. The project also supports CSOs through mentoring, handholding and knowledge-sharing initiatives with the overall aim of strengthening organizational effectiveness, leadership, systems and programme quality.
About the Position: Sahbhagi Shikshan Kendra is looking for a Program Lead who will be responsible for overall coordination and implementation of Project SAKSHAM. Program Lead will manage and coordinate project activities, conduct and facilitate training programs, identifying resource persons, manage training and workshop events, preparation of bilingual training materials, manage logistics and ensure timely delivery of project activities in line with the project objectives. The program lead should be able to coordinate, report and communicate with the Donor.
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate in Rural Management or any other social science discipline
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a leadership role in the development sector
- Good command of both Hindi and English (verbal as well as written)
- Computer proficiency
- Experience in conducting and managing training programs and workshops
- Experience in capacity-building documentation and preparation of project publication
- Strong donor liaising
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with CSOs
- Candidates who are willing to travel frequently are encouraged to apply
Age: 30–45 years, with relevant experience and suitable skill set for the position
Roles and responsibilities:
- Lead the overall coordination and implementation of Project SAKSHAM in line with the project objectives and timelines
- Plan, coordinate and oversee project activities and ensure their timely implementation
- Coordinate and facilitate training programmes across 8 states, working with 400 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs)
- Identify and coordinate with suitable resource persons for training and capacity-building programmes
- Support the development and preparation of bilingual training and learning materials
- Coordinate training and workshop logistics and ensure smooth execution of all related activities
- Work closely with the project team and CSOs to ensure effective coordination and implementation of the trainings
- Prepare project reports, updates and other required documentation
- Maintain regular communication and coordination with the donor, including sharing project progress and updates
- Monitor project progress and follow up on key deliverables to ensure timely completion
