This role will require the Lead to interact with UT level officials of Education and PRI departments and ensure the execution of the processes in 4 identified districts of J&K. For this, they will be required to visit districts for review, planning and execution of competency-based education in their respective areas. Relationship building with officials, understanding team needs, and planning to address the same accordingly are some of the major requirements of the role. It is an office-cum-field-based role with documentation and reporting of the work done being part of the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Domain Knowledge
? Masters in Social Work/Rural Development/Education/Sociology.
? Experience of working in the social sector (preferably in education) with at least 3 to 5 years in a leading role.
? Experience of interacting with government stakeholders at various levels.
? Experience of working with community members and leaders, such as parents, SMCs, panchayats etc.
? Understanding of the education eco-system in India and in J&K.
? Familiar with policies, such as- NEP, NCF and RTE.
? Understanding of the local socio-cultural contexts of J&K.
General Competencies
? Openness to unlearn and learn new things to address the needs of the role.
? Verbal and written fluency in Kashmiri, & Hindi and basic fluency in English.
? Technical knowledge and ease of use of software such as MS Office and AI tools where necessary.
? Polite in demeanor, with the ability to lead by example.
? A collaborative team player with strong planning and organizational skills.
? A reflective individual who actively seeks self-improvement and growth.
