Bhartiya Jan Utthan Parishad (BJUP) is a registered not-for-profit organisation established in 1983 by a group of committed and like-minded social workers under the leadership of Late Devendra Prasad Singh. BJUP works to empower marginalized communities by strengthening their skills, knowledge and capacities and enabling them to participate in decisions affecting their lives. Its programmes address poverty, discrimination, education, health, livelihood, protection and basic human rights through sustainable, rights-based approaches. BJUP works collaboratively with Government Departments, national and international development organisations, civil society organisations, CSR institutions and other stakeholders to promote inclusion, social equality and social justice. Position Overview: Field Coordinator (2 Posts)

BJUP is looking for motivated and committed Field Coordinators to support field implementation of a programme focusing on bonded labour, labour rights, rehabilitation and social protection. The role requires extensive community interaction, household visits, awareness generation, identification and documentation of vulnerable workers and regular coordination with beneficiaries and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake regular field visits and community mobilisation.
• Conduct awareness sessions on bonded labour, labour rights and available government entitlements.
• Identify vulnerable workers and suspected bonded labour cases and support verification and documentation.
• Assist programme teams during rescue, release and rehabilitation processes.
• Facilitate access to government schemes, social-security benefits and rehabilitation support.
• Conduct household and beneficiary follow-up and coordinate with Panchayats and local stakeholders.
• Maintain beneficiary, case and activity records and support programme MIS and reporting.
• Assist in organising community meetings, campaigns and stakeholder events.

Location: Nawada, Bihar (1 Post) and Patna, Bihar (1 Post) - Total 2 Posts Compensation: Rs. 18,000-Rs. 20,000 per month, depending upon experience, knowledge and suitability.

Qualifications:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies or another relevant social-science discipline.
• Preferably 2-4 years of field experience in community mobilisation, labour rights, migration, trafficking, rehabilitation, social protection or similar development programmes.
• Knowledge or experience relating to bonded labour and labour rights will be strongly preferred.
• Strong community mobilisation, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Ability to undertake intensive field travel and household visits; knowledge of local geography and government systems will be an advantage.
• Freshers/recent graduates from reputed institutions with relevant internships or demonstrated understanding of bonded labour, labour rights or community development are also encouraged to apply.
