JOB DESCRIPTION:
Centre for Microfinance and Livelihood (CML), an initiative of Tata Trusts, invites applications for a Cluster Coordinator for its NABARD-supported livelihood project in Ambassa R.D. Block, Dhalai, Tripura, focusing on horticulture, fisheries, piggery and integrated farming systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day field implementation and household-level support.
• Facilitate orchard, IFS, piggery, fisheries, Nutri Garden, irrigation and water-management activities.
• Mobilize farmers, women and youth and strengthen CBOs/farmer groups.
• Organize and support trainings, demonstrations and exposure visits.
• Facilitate distribution and verification of saplings, piglets, fish seed, pumps and other project assets.
• Maintain household MIS, registers, GPS/photo evidence and documentation.
• Monitor field progress, asset utilization, plant survival, livestock and fisheries performance.
• Submit field updates, weekly plans and monthly reports to the Programme Coordinator.
• Coordinate with Village Councils, Government departments, KVKs, technical experts and service providers.
Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development or related field.
• 2-3 years’ relevant field experience in livelihoods, agriculture, horticulture, livestock, fisheries or tribal/rural development.
• Strong grassroots/community experience in Tripura preferred.
Key Competencies
• Strong field execution and community mobilization skills.
• Practical knowledge of horticulture, IFS, livestock and fisheries.
• Good MIS, documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in rural/tribal areas and deliver results.
