Role Overview:

The Communication Executive will lead Millets Naari’s brand communication, focusing on content development and enhancing the digital presence. This role is crucial for ensuring consistent messaging across social media, WhatsApp, campaigns, and institutional outreach, while fostering strong consumer engagement and trust in the brand.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute a strategy for developing documentary videos on WASSAN's initiatives, including script development in coordination with respective program teams and handling filming and editing.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to shape WASSAN's overall digital presence and outreach strategy across social media platforms.
• Design and produce marketing collateral (posters, banners, presentations, reports) for WASSAN-level campaigns and regular institutional communications, ensuring alignment with brand identity guidelines.
• Track and analyze communication KPIs — social media engagement, campaign reach, and website traffic — to optimize WASSAN's overall communication strategy.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar for social media, ensuring consistent release of posts and reels for the Akkidi brand under the Women SHG-Led Food Enterprises initiative.
• Write engaging, persuasive copy for social media, blogs, WhatsApp campaigns, and product catalogs to effectively communicate the initiative/brand.
• Shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos for social media posts, reels, and campaigns, ensuring consistent visual branding.
• Design marketing collateral — packaging visuals, posters, digital creatives, catalogs — for campaigns and everyday brand communication.
• Plan and execute festival-based campaigns (Makar Sankranti, Ugadi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, etc.) to drive seasonal sales and customer engagement.
• Support website content development for the brand/initiative, focusing on brand storytelling, product descriptions, blogs, and customer testimonials.
• Document and translate Women Self-Help Group (WSHG) stories into compelling brand narratives and video content that resonate with consumers.
• Track and analyze sales leads and customer engagement metrics specific to the brandi, to continuously refine outreach and sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with proficiency in English and Telugu/Hindi preferred.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer) and a strong understanding of digital marketing analytics.
• 1-4 years’ experience in campaign planning, digital marketing, or community engagement is preferred.
• Familiarity with designing software like Canva, Corel Draw, etc., to create visually appealing marketing materials.
• Ability to translate grassroots stories into compelling consumer-facing content that aligns with brand values.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in coordinating with SHGs, institutional buyers, and urban customers.
