About the Organisation & Project

Unique Educate is seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial management and documentation for the Krishak Pathshala Project. The Accountant will maintain project financial records and support timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain project books of accounts and financial records.
Record income, expenditure, payments and other financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain bills, vouchers and supporting financial documents.
Maintain cash book, ledger, bank records and other accounting registers.
Assist with bank reconciliation and financial documentation.
Support preparation of project financial statements and periodic financial reports.
Ensure proper filing and preservation of financial records and supporting documents.
Assist in preparation of documents required for audit.
Support compliance relating to GST, TDS and other applicable financial requirements.
Maintain records of project expenditure against approved budgets.
Coordinate with the project team for timely collection of bills and supporting documents.
Provide financial information required for project monitoring and reporting.
Required Qualification & Experience
B.Com.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Knowledge of Tally and GST will be preferred.
Experience in NGO, development-sector, government or project accounting will be an advantage.
Must-have Skills

Accounting and bookkeeping, Tally, GST, MS Excel, financial documentation, bank reconciliation, attention to detail and basic financial reporting.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience.
